I have a 04 lb7 I just installed a t78 turbo studded 65 over injectors 10mm cp3 built trans and a 165 air dog
I’ve started playing with tunes myself this year got the hp academy and only mess with my trucks which are all mostly stock until this one
Looking for some advice someone to point me in the right direction
I don’t care a bit to pay for your time and knowledge
I may considering someone else’s tunes it’s just something I’d rather have that’s mine it’s more rewarding I guess

I guess my first question is should I start with one of my “max” tunes for a mostly stock truck and add there or start fresh to go and get a data log with the truck having no tune right now

Don't run a hot tune meant for stock injectors. There are a few threads here with tune files posted talking about changes for SAC style injectors (if that's what you have). Also if you have the injector flow sheets, you can utilize that to rough in a pulse width map as a starter

Bingo.

Starting with the flowsheet and matching injected quantity of your OEM injectors on a max effort file would be my first recommendation. Then use the timing calculators on here etc to help start out.

Then add power until the charger stops. I'm guessing that thing will cop out around 600whp-650whp or so based on what I can find online for that turbocharger. It seems to be a tiny turbine S300 essentially aimed at 2-4L engines, not our 6.6L engines.
