Hey guys I’m about 2hrs from home and my battery light came on and my volts slowly disappeared, went to the nearest Parts store put a new alt. And new batteries in it to try to get it home, did not fix the charging issues, also loosened and wiggled the cable going over by the grounding post, anyone have any ideas?

Yes only showing 11.46 on both batteries, if I run my tester with accessories running battery negative to Case on alternator I will get -.05 on passenger side and .01 on driver side, any idea what that could mean?

That procedure basically just measures the voltage drop or resistance of the cables. Your readings are normal.

What voltage do you get right at the stud on the alternator?
