LB7: Tow rig changes

I picked up this 02 Crew Cab Short Bed from an older gentlemen that has all the maintenance records since he owned it. It was completely stock with only 156k miles and 4wd. About a week after owning it I debadged the truck, straight piped it and put some used 20 inch wheels on it.

Here is a little before and after, then a picture with the 20s

I absolutely hated the ride with the 20s and have always had a soft spot for 16x10 old school Mickey Thompson’s. I got a sweet deal on some new pro comps and tires so I just had to

next will be some tint, gauges and also new headlights/grill

Looks good ryan. I pulled the chrome trim off one door of mine the other day...pulled paint with it..no bueno not happy. Going to rhino line the bottom of doors n rockers to the flatbed

Im one of those guys partial to PY0s and the 07-10 GMC wheels, but your choice was good too. I wonder what it would look like with white painted flares?

At some point I would like to purchase some color matched fender flares, but honestly not a huge fan of them. Are you talking about the factory 20s in 07-10?

That’s a nice clean truck. Going to do any color matching like door handles and front bumper trim? That would clean it up a lot IMO. I like your choice in wheels too.

Thanks! I do plan on doing the door handles and would like to do a roll pan in the rear. However not sure how the color matches bumper would look

I want to do my CCSB so bad, its black with limo tint on the windows. I think 01-02 look KILLER paint matched (haven't seen a white one in person tho).

Man I use to see them all the time. They look goooood but I like to leave the chrome on the bumpers and grill. Goes with the wheels better

My plan was to have the chrome grill and billet inserts, cleared headlights and paint the upper and lower part of the bumper but leave the chrome.
