More than twice as strong:D
The hitch is designed for bed campers. You can get a 4' extension with a 600lb tongue or 6000lb trailer rating (1,200/12000 using weight distribution).

Yep, got the 48 incher for my setup. 5,500 Lb truck camper in my bed with a 5,000 lb boat behind it. Super Hitch is the best there is. Clears the MRBP 4inch just fine for me also. Reses's hitch, tow beast, has less dead weight than the TLSH. I'd have to use a WD hitch if I went that route, no thanks.

If anyone could make a copy of the trailer plug attachment I'd love to get one. My new hitch didn't come with one (it wasn't as hefty a hitch as this one!). I can make a template if anyone has a sheet metal brake and plasma cutter! :D

Thanks,
