TX of course
Highly considering a set of these for the back of the 2020. Now that the tracker is not in the hauler when towing, my tongue weight is 2200-2400lbs and rough roads are… rough lol.

Dont want bags. You guys know my feelings on those

Whos towed heavy on timbrens and whats your thoughts? Reduce sag? Add any addition rebound over bumps when loaded?
James what do you recommend for shocks these days? I feel like I don't hear anything good about any of them. The Fox performance on my 2020 have started leaking after only a few years. I've never really had a complaint about ride quality on any aftermarket shocks. I just want something that lasts. My truck's about 10,000 pounds and spend all day driving about rough construction sites.

It may not be fox's fault that they're leaking already. The rods may have gotten abused by the back roads of Arkansas. Which took out the seals eventually, but I don't go up there anymore.

Honestly the king seal heads and seals are far better than the newer fox stuff but you pay a premium. They are a great shock but i have not ridden in a truck with them to give my view on valving. Having a clicker resi on them would really help when towing too

I personally am going to put bilstein 5100’s on the wifes 2020. Its just the best bang for the buck though i dont care for the digressive valving (doesnt help for towing).

Put some pics up of the shocks you got.

Appreciate it but i already ordered a set through my supplier.

So thoughts so far:

Works perfect with the toy hauler on the back. No major sag, sits level, ride is slightly harsh on chatter bumps but ill bet they break in more and soften up.

Now put a lighter trailer on the back like i did to wyoming and back (about 800-1000lbs tongue weight) and there is a stark difference between how the front and rear ride. The rear is stiff which makes the front ride super soft. You can feel the timbrens kinda engage their stages too. I dont feel this is a fair comparison though till i get shocks. These stock ranchos with 66k on them suck

Unloaded or with 5-600lbs in the bed, rides awesome.

Plan is for some bilstein 5100’s in the future unless i come across some used kings for a good price

Here you go. I don't mind paying a little bit more, but I think these were like $250 a shock. I expected them to last longer than this.
I got the old blue and yellow Bilsteins on my 06. Other than beating the bushings out of them a few times they're still great after 20 years.
