I will be doing the pump rub kit along with other upgrades in the next couple of weeks. Can the snap ring pliers be bought at a oriellys or is there someone around birmingham al willing to loan them?

They should come in the kit. M.A. has a good complete package deal. I wouldn't spare any change cause the frustration of not having the right tool will make that hour and a half job into a lot more.

If you can, get a ratcheting pair like these. :thumb:

Could I get them from Grainger? Do you have some specifics on them?

There are three or four types.
My set can be reversed from internal to external snap rings .
And, it came with several different pin angles and sizes.
They were around seventy bucks or so.
In ten years, I've used them ten times - worth every dime.
