Swap into a 2001

I'd love to get a built transmission, but right now it's not in the cards. I found a guy selling a 2002 Allison and the talks we have had he doesn't seem like he's trying to pull one over on me. I know there are some differences in the 2001 year, what would be involved in getting this trans hooked up in my truck? I know the physical install will work, but are there differences in wiring harnesses / valves I need to know about?

Should be a straight swap. Only thing I can think of between 01-02 is maybe the trans cooler fittings (and I mean maybe -- the fittings may have changed in 03 instead -- I forget what Mike said) ....but all you do is swap the 01s over. NSBU switch the same. Wiring should be the same.

01 to 02 is the same. 03 was the change over for larger cooler ports, but you can get adapter fittings anyway. Realistically you can use anything 01 to 05
