Stupid Question

Im currently trying to get to the heads of my LLY to replace the gaskets. My stupid question is this. After unbolting the intake bridge is it possible to unbolt the rocker arm assembly fully assemble to get to the heads? Sorry if this is not an accurate description, this my first major overhaul of a motor. I believe the assembly has like 12-20 5mm allen head screws?

Yes you can take the whole part off but first back the valve lash off each rocker or the shaft can break.

Also Shawn sorry I did not get back with you Fri night after your pm. I was stuck on the phone dealing with Gm going back to work and they screwed my checks up. Did you get all your parts you needed. Good luck just take your time. All info that you need to do this is listed in the Gm spec area tells the step by step on taking off and reinstall.
