stall speed?

I was wondering if someone could explain the stall in torque converts thanks

The way i think of it is, the stall speed specified is the RPM at which either the engine stops reving or the truck pushes through the brakes, depending on how much power you have, in layman's terms. Im sure Mike l. Will either correct me if im wrong, or have a better explanation.
