stabilitrak issue on LML

Let me start off by saying the info I'm giving is coming from our mechanic who knows nothing about newer trucks and is mainly our big truck mechanic. Soooo, one of trucks at work, an '11 LML, is having an issue where he is saying it is giving a stabilitrak or stability system, or something message on the DIC, and when it does it gets really hard to steer and the streering wheel shakes. Sounds like a sensor or something is going out, but I have no idea.
Has anyone else had or seen this issue on a LMM or LML? Also, the guy this truck is assigned to is an ID10T, so there is no telling what he has done to it.

On these modern trucks, the best way to diagnose them is to let them diagnose themselves. Put a good scan tool on (one that can read EBCM codes) and see what comes up.

If the employee is describing the behavior right, it will almost certainly have a code stored.
