Where are you draining it to? Hard to see in the pics and looks like the ped goes right over the oem drain.

Runs real strong. Not a lot of pulsewidth, but enough it wouldn't clean up above 3300 on the stock turbo. Pulls to 3800+ hard and clean. Man it's loud when your in it not bad with windows up, but when they are down, it's pissed off :rofl:
Quick video of a 4th pull.... low TQ, high rpm HP tune. I'll creep up fueling below 3k, but for now it's all focused on making power above 3300 to try and keep the trans alive...

Draining into stock location, built a flange and made a hard pipe that snakes up and above the stock up pipe flanges... the tube going back is at a slight downwards angle since the turbo is sitting so high... used 5/8" hose.
Couple other custom parts I made for the project,
Machined up an angled v-band piece for the s366. Couldn't find one online with that angle Borg Warner uses... also made the trim ring for the hood stack (It's painted black now). Thanks for checking out my project, commenting and helping with the fuel limp guys.

Impressive! Stays right between 3000-4000 rpm thru the gears. That 3-4 shift might be getting a bit lazy, though.

Finally logged the truck, had to make a few shift point adjustments. Also noticed I'm not hitting fueling targets. That video above was about a 2250 or so pulse at high rpm... calling for about 2400. Not sure why it's being limited because I cranked up the maf table and it's still not hitting targets... Probably doesn't need much more fueling or the stock trans will most likely grenade anyway.

Whats a fair price to ask for my old LBZ turbo? I took the solenoid and sensor out for the VVT, but it's in great shape otherwise... no shaft play to speak of (123k miles) Always let it cool down, never saw over about 28ish psi. Just curious what I should ask for it? Thanks guys,

Came across some threads talking about pulling oil from the stock turbo location (cam bearing) and how this can be an issue.... especially when I'm running a journal bearing turbo. Am I at risk for starving the cam bearing for oil by doing this? I spin the motor up close to 4k in my quest for a low tq type tune.... what do you guys think???
I always do a remote line from the oil galley. If for some reason you spun a cam bearing your charger goes bye bye with the stock oiling. I know its not terribly likely but one small preventative step goes a long way. Plus larger journal bearing chargers use a lot of oil.
Do you think running a journal bearing turbo from there makes it more likely you could loose the cam bearing? Thanks for the info

If you spin that cam bearing in that location Todd, you have a lot more to worry about than just the turbo failing. I've used this location for my (in the valley) turbos since day one. If you spin that bearing that means that the cam at that journal doesn't get oil as well (can you say welded together?). Your option is to take all the oil from a main bearing journal or worse yet from the oil filter housing (which would be prefilter and precooler
). Spinning the cam bearing (if you do) usually always follows a main bearing that spun which can also lead to spun rod bearings. UGLY! Just watch the oil temps in the proper location. Been talking to some folks seeing north of 320* while towing. OUCH! If you come up Denver way any time Todd, I'd like to see your set up. Buzz me.
