I found my clunking noise. Front shock broke. I'm not doing any heavy towing or 4 wheeling. Just pulling as bass boat for now. I'm looking at the Bilstein 5100. My truck doesn't have a lift on it. Are there different part numbers for different lifts? 2015 4wd

So for that, you'd need the shocks below.

Front: Bilstein 24-253161, for 0-1.5" lift
Rear: Bilstein 24-196468, for 0-2" lift

I say pass on the 5100's every truck I've been in with them rode like ass, if you must have bilstein's get the yellow ones. I've tried 2 sets of 5100's on my own trucks thinking I just got a junk set but nope they still rode like ass. I would buy generic auto part store ones before the 5100's again, I have the rancho rs9000's and like them it was like a whole new truck. Also tried the fox they were not bad but just didn't last the shafts pitted in the bearing area and took out the seals.

I'm interested in shocks too, my rancho 9000 are great in front, not good in back. I do alot of toeing but also alot of daily driving. Even adjusting them doesn't help that much. Anyone have. Better recommendation for maybe just rear shocks?

Watching this one. I want as cushy/smooth a ride as I can get out of the shocks. IDC about tow-ability, offroad performance, hotrodding/racing performance, none of it. The truck is strictly a daily driver. Never has a trailer in tow. Just want it to ride as smooth as possible. What are my options?

Yes, too soft for sure. Even turned up. Been eye balling the 5160 series shocks from Bilstein
