I wish him luck!! I am not entering but will be in attendance.
I'm kind of excited about this race. One of the guys I follow is putting an L5P in his truck hoping it will give him an edge.
Dante? I personally think he's got a pretty good shot at it.
I think it'll take an L5P engine to "dethrone" the Cummins crowd. I'm a diehard Duramax fan but it's hard to argue with the HP/TQ per turbo size that the Cummins platform puts up.

I also don't believe an Allison will win either. It'll be 48re/4R100/4L80e/TH400 that takes the W. They're simply quicker shifting, lighter, and more consistent.
What is this race all about? Fastest stock-setup vehicles or something?
Long story short it’s fuel only, everyone gets the same turbo, and I believe there are some chassis rules.
Winner takes in 70k or so for first.
I’m definitely missing some info but that’s the highlight.

A 2wd has a good advantage here assuming good suspension setup and well prepped track.

There's quite a few shops sponsoring the class, IIRC Merchant put up a bounty to every dmax truck that takes out a cummins

It’s an interesting class. What does everyone think it will take to win this class. I’m expecting to see the fast guys breaking into the 9s and a lot of low 10s.
