I noticed the lasted storm while plowing 2016 denali diesel that during regen, the volt meter was under the 14v line and I'm guessing close to 13v.I have dual alternators.when not in regen and plowing 14.3-5v the whole time.
My buddy thinks his 15.5 denali diesel stays at 14+v when regening.

what are you guys noticing?Do I have a problem?

IIRC, isnt the alternator regulated by the ECM on the gmt-900+ generation trucks?
If so, it may just be "doing its thing" with the alt, and the voltage drop happening during regen is just a coincidence.

You could always load test your batteries (individually) and the alternator just to be sure they are in good nick.

Are you plowing with tow/haul on? That makes it charge higher. And the load from plow lift can be a pretty big drain. Hopefully you have the + side of lift on one battery and the - on the other.

That was my thought too,,ecm is just doing something weird and I have to deal w/ it.
I gonna try plowing in tow/haul but I'll have to rig up a way to monitor the voltage.
