I had a 07 LMM and towed a 39' 5th wheel and I usually got 11mpg going about 60-70. I put it in tow haul mode and set the cruise and go. IF your lugging something is wrong cause I never lugged with mine, It towed so nice I would forget it was back there.

Were you towing on all 2 lanes? All interstate? Why 70. Try slowing down or don't complain. I'm not being a smart ass, I have an LBZ. I get 9.8 average going from Va to Co or Va to Ok on Interstates, (about 60 miles is 2 lane) hauling a 31 ft Arctic Fox and grossing 19,000 lb. I drive 67 and the will move btwn 5 and 6 a lot locked. I usually manually down shift it at 2500 but watch tran temp. I am going Va-Ok to Divide Co in May. I know where I have to buy fuel, I carry 100 gal and buy as much as I can outside Co. and NM. Try running the truck like I do. Chevy built the Allison to take it and Duramax Engines will do well above 2500.

How's that gas mileage now Wolf. My LMM does about 10-12 hauling my 10k TT here in Colorado all day long and I'm not even deleted yet. No mods

My CCLB 4x4 2004 LB7 with 6" lift and 12.50 35's gets 15mpg all the time really no matter how I drive it. I haven't taken a long trip yet so no idea what it will do on the HWY but my guess is around 18-20.

2016 lml bone stock with topper running Empty no wind at 75 mph I averaged between 20 and 23mpg which I'm happy with.

Towing not so good. 70 mph no wind towing my toy hauler at about 8500 lbs I'm only getting about 9mpg. Wish I could put a tow tune in and keep warranty. My lbz with the lift and big boots used to get better than that.

I don't know where half of you are getting these numbers, either my truck is a pile of shit, or you guys live in the flat lands.

I cannot get over 16 no matter what. Did good to get 10 towing my camper. I did get 19 mpg with 12k miles and a 32" tire in South Carolina.

Been towing 10k for the last 100 miles. Stock tire size and a ridge runner tow tune.

I can agree with you on this, I don't know how people always get better than me.. This is my L5p over the last 6 tanks or so and others been seeing 3,4,5 more miles to gallon than this..

Well that was on this highway. Same highway I'm on now. And the scenery won't change for another 1300 miles!
