Tell me about it! Most nights I hang out inside until my daughter goes to bed, around 7 or 7:30, then go outside to work so I'm not leaving my wife alone with her every night. Plus I kinda like hanging out with them
I got a roll of heat wrap, should I put it on the turbine-to-turbine pipe and the downpipe? Did you guys heat wrap your hot side parts or leave them alone?
Getting really close. Last piece I have to put on is the downpipe, and a few small things to button up.
Here's what I ended up doing with the fuel return line, it's the one that snakes between the two pipes in the center.
Cold side pipes done.
Had to trim my airbox tray and support bracket to clear the passenger side cold pipe.
Decided to add a sight tube to the new coolant tank, it was a little painful drilling holes since the powder coat looked so nice, but I think it turned out ok.
Installed, located the tube between the tank and the fender to keep it out of the way and away from the heat.
Make sure that down pipe isn't touching the cab at all... It will drive you nuts vibrating. It will also bang the cab when you shut the truck off if not clearanced enough.
