question for anyone with a 5 inch djm drop

Have a slight vibration that I was chasing last year. Balanced tires, have a brand new driveshaft, but there is still vibration. have you guys had to do anything pinion angle wise? Thanks

Sounds like you need to shim as rickett said! Any lower then 5" especially on a crew cab you run into that problem because of the driveshaft angle...

I got lucky with mine but I plan to go lower so I will eventually run into the same situation... I have heard the shimming isnt to hard nor very expensive...

Naw, adjusted pinion on a few vehicles. Just looking for direction. Per math calc. it needs more pinion angle on rear diff, but wasnt sure if I was chasing something else. Thanks

I have djm hangers and 3" shackles but still retaining the overloads. No vibration here.do you have your overloads in OP?

On my truck I went 4 inch drop with my DJM arms and I have a vibration from the CV's I feel it in the steering wheel.
