Havin a hard time finding the part number for qa1's for a stock height truck. Is there any other double adjustable shock a guy should be looking at as well? I have the rancho 9000's and am looking for something with more adjustment.

Viking is a comparable alternative, I had some PM's back and forth awhile back with a longtime member, he said the Ranchos do a good job controlling the rear and the double adjustable helps with the donkey dance in the front end..

Doubles are not really worth the extra money imo. I cut numerous low 1.5x 60' and a buddy gets high 1.4x 60' with single adjustables. I turn the front all's the way stiff and the front stays down really well.

I was referring to the floating donkey dance on long freeway curves marked 50 and going through at 80mph. This where the double adjustables would shine on the rebound. The Rancho's have little if any rebound control and double adjustables would complement the 1-1/2" chromoly front and rear sway bars I have, soon to be dropped 2" front 4" back.

Bump. I am thinking about going single adjustable in the rear double up front. Truck has 2-3" drop shackles and the torsion bolts are most of the way out. These should be direct bolt in correct?

Aslo I found them on Amazon but didn't know if there was anywhere better?

Perfect. I just ordered them. I think the Fox shocks I have now are for a leveled truck and I am way down in the stroke.

I posted in another thread but I see the bushing needs to be modified. Is the QA1 bushing thick enough that I could bring it to a machine shop and have the hole bored from 1/2" to 14mm?

Sorry I thought that's what were talking about. You have to drill the rubber bushing to put your OEM metal bushing in it. I leave them on the body and drill them out. Not bad to do at all
