Power steering hose

Anyone ever make there own out of AN fittings and High pressure braided hose? It seems to me like it'd be pointless to replace it with another GM unit that is destined to fail. Im trying to do some research here to figure out what I will need. I've sourced the high pressure hose and the fittings for it. But am unsure of what size adapter fittings I need. I've found 18mm, 16mm and 14mm x 1.5 fittings so far.

Yup and I like it, It's much cleaner,I dont have a pic of it finished

Sweet thanks, I was just about to hit the order button on those to fittings, and just was hoping that they'd be the right ones, since thats what the older hydroboost/PS size was.
