PO862 PO700 need help

recently, I’ve been getting a P0700 code and a P0862 code, I don’t really know where to start because I know these codes can be from a handful of reasons. My truck pretty much goes in limp mode every time I put it in gear after I clear the codes, it has started to shift a little harder. Just don’t really know if this is electrical or mechanical and honestly I just need some advice if anyone has had this problem. Thanks.

P0700 is a genetic code for when the transmission asks for the CEL to be lite. P0862 is for communication circuit high. Sounds like a shorted wire or module.

Someone else here may have the diagnostic tree for the P0862 code. Most likely the cause of limp, shifting and P0700.
