I'm running the Ac Delco slotted rotors and EBC yellow pads. The rotors are definitely a quality item, had my caliper sticking and overheating the rear axle & brakes upnin heavy smoke. Rotors were still straight and reuseable as well the pads too. Still stops like a car.

Are you looking for better stopping power? What about bigger rotors? I think it was on here that I read about a kit that lets you put Kodiak brakes on the front of our trucks.

I read somewhere about somebody putting lml brakes on the older body style (01-10). I can't remember if they bolt right up or not. If they did fit I'd imagine you would need bigger wheels to fit over the larger brakes.

I believe the kit is by SSBC with different brackets to relocate your stock calipers . Rotors are like 14"+- a

On my LML I use the stock rotors and pads front and rear. I am a transporter so there is always a trailer connected to the truck. I am on my 2nd set of front pads - stock GM pads. The original pads went 300k, replaced them and did not need to turn rotors. I am still on the original set of pads on the rear, as well. Just turned 466,244 miles on the truck today. My trailer brakes are a different story - leak seal has ruined some shoes. I am starting to have issues with my abs system and will be changing it soon, as the wheel sensors have all been changed and I still have problems with braking on exit ramps and when on getting onto the highway from circlular on ramps.
Man, 300K on a set of OEM is impressive.

I tried those severe duty pads for about 3 weeks and they were too soft and left brake dust all over my wheels. Switched back to the factory ones as soon as they came in (back ordered) and now I have clean wheels and better braking.
My younger brother had close to 300,000 on his lifted 2006 CCSB, I would say 90% of was stop and go in town here in the Phoenix Metro area since new. He has a moderate to heavy right foot like his other 3 brothers which includes me.

If you need help selecting brake I can help you out. We have all kinds of different kits front, rear, all four (for most vehicles).
I've ran our brake rotors and pads on everything from my 400hp 92 Mustang to an 89 Wrangler that I grabbed from Virginia that has 33s on it.
I also run them on my daily drivers in a ton of traffic; I'm on my second set of pads on my 04 Grand Cherokee. I've had the front brake rotors on that for about 4 years.
What country of origin are your rotors from, grade of steel/cast.? I was looking at some Raybestos rotors come to find out they are made overseas. Their are some high quality overseas companies and the other side of the token some really horrible ones.
