P0748 - Pressure Control Solenoid Circuit Electrical

This si the code I got at the strip the other night, I was at about the 1000' mark in the 1/4-mile and ended up with a 8.91 in the 1/8th and then the RPM's fluttered and I appeared to lose 5th gear and this was the code I came up with..

I just coasted thru the 1/4 and the MIL immediately lit up!!!


MIKE, what does this mean??? Damage??? I was running one of The Neens-BigWill Tunes thats fairly decent power-wise!!!!

Need to check trim solenoid A and corresponding wiring that goes from that solenoid to the TCM for opens or shorts. Could be internal harness, main harness from TCM to back of trans, or bad connection at TCM. Good luck hunting it down.

I wonder why it did it at the strip and this is the first time that it has ever thrown it and doesn't coem up around town driving!!!

Has anyone had any insite on this. Im pulling my hair out with this same code. Pulled trim valves cleaned bores and polished valves with no luck.

You have an electrical problem. Voltage to the trim solenoids is my guess.

Swaped ignition module in column. It seems like i have no voltage on the yellow wires in the grey connector at the tcm. Am i lokking in the right place.
