May be a smidge steep with mileage but if its clean underneath they'll probably have no issues selling it at that price. I paid 23k for mine 3 years ago with 116k miles loaded private party though.

I like how these hold their value. I bought my 05 cloth ccsb 8 years ago this may for 31K with 26k miles on it. it has 103k on it now and iit would sell for 25k here easily. I bet if i was to trade it in i would see it on the lot for 27K th next week. a dealership tried to buy it from me several times awhile back and sent a hand written letter to me asking me to call them, so I did just to see what they would give me. the guy said site unseen we will give you 16,500. I laughed at the guy and said yeah right I know what these go for and you'll sell it for 25. your not gonna get it that easy and make 9k profit off me. he said oh no sir we might get 21K and I said well your not gonna make 5k off me either. they called back 3 times asking if I had changed my mind and for me to bring it in and see what kinda deal we could work out. desperate for non emission diesels I guess.

LOL thats cause your diesel is still 4.89 a gallon I was in Kuaui in december when diesel was 2.89 here it was 4.89 there. i noticed there was alot less diesels running around then the first time in 2013 that i was there.

When dealerships beg you to trade in your truck everytime you pull thru, you know they hold there value quite well.;)

I don't know. To me it seemed high. I've seen some newer trucks for just a few thousand more.

What causes a truck to hold that high of a value? Someone somewhere willing to pay that dollar amount?

Its because people will pay it. For $24k with cloth interior, it better be an LBZ truck. Hell that things 10yrs old now, interest on a loan is going to be high. I'm not paying 5% on a truck like that.
