Ok so I got a slightly used oil cooler, no big deal right? (Actually its just the part where the oil filter twists on.) Well I'm guessing that I have MISSED the boat on how you get the oil cooler o-ring to line back up. It seems like once you take the old one off the o-ring triples in size. Could someone please fill me in on what is going wrong here? Or how to properly install the o-ring behind the oil cooler?

I'm referring to the gasket between oilcooler house and oil filter housing odd shaped rectangular thing.
