Shot the world finals Fri and Sat, went home from the banquet and drove straight to Oklahoma for a race, just to go out 1st round .003 bumping -.007 on the tree, buyback, and go out 2nd round on a 4 thou MOV (which the .014/.018 difference on the tree was the decider. Both 2.3 hun over the dial)
Sophomore slump, champions slump, whatever you want to call it. Been fighting gremlins from the footbox to the driveshaft. Did 10 torque convertor changes, had trans apart twice, snapped midplate, and just undid the beadlocks yesterday to do a tire change. It's been a tough year. On top of mechanicals, driver has had trouble leaving on time and the car will swing numbers slow and fast and doesn't want to be consistent.
Just been a hard year overall. Plus I was working 50 hrs a week on a contract job until July so I was almost never home except to sleep.
And the LB7 still needs news injectors.
But we at least learned what was screwed up in the trans/convertor. Just had to talk to TAD/TAFC people to find out. Fixing that over winter, as well as putting some blue bottle on it for playing top end games.
