My name is Rob. I just purchased a new 2015 Silverado 2500HD crew cab 4x4 with the duramax. I'm coming from a 2013 F150 Supercrew 4x4 Ecoboost. The silverado is definitely a lot more truck, to say the least. This is my first diesel and though I worked on cars and trucks on my earlier years, I know nothing about diesels at all so I am looking to learn a lot from y'all. I can't figure out how to take pictures small enough to use for the profile pics but I will figure that out I'm sure.
We'll be pulling a 32' 2016 Keystone Passport (spent a lot of money this year) LOL....so I'm excited to see how much different this truck pulls and the ecoboost while it had enough power got dreadful mpgs in tow, 7-9 for a 7K trailer loaded. I think the sound of the diesel alone was worth the $8k! Anyway....hi all. See you around.
