Hello,
I need help understanding the Injector Balances.
I have 2007 LBZ 3500 RWD 156000miles setup with a standard PPE on level 3, the only two mods is a thermocouple for the pyrometer and installed FPRV 3 Shims .

Why is there +- on different injectors?
Inj 1 bal 2.4mm (what does the mm stand for?)
Inj 2 bal -1.3mm

Here is a video... http://youtu.be/xbY8_S88etM?list=UUtwwYaEv0WHxCwViGDofZlQ

and here is the screen on the Edge CTS showing injector balances too.

mm3 is cubic millimeters. A measure of delivered fuel quantity that the ECM uses to reference things like appropriate timing, fuel pressure, and pulse width.

Some injectors flow slightly more or less than the others and balance rate is the way the Ecm makes up for those minute differences.

In spec balance rates are +/- 4.00mm3
