Been looking for a new project to work on with my dad and brother. Always wanted a C10 and found one that fits the bill. Its a 71, two owner truck. It was restored in 2006, had an engine fire in 2010 and has sat ever since. It will need all the underhood wiring, accessories, fuel, cooling and ignition system to get going.

Nope going to get the small block 350 in it now running first. If anything later it would get a fuel injected 4.8/5.3. Probably going to keep it simple and carbureted though. For only $1500 it's a solid start. Thanks Albert I love the early 70s trucks. Cars not so much.

Excellent score! The straight & rust free body is probably worth at least double that parted out!

Like a lot of other people, that is certainly my favorite bodystyle of truck. I especially prefer the 69-72 over the 67-68 slanted hood!

Nice score! That's my dads favorite year too. We rebuilt a few of them over the years and sold everyone. That last one I still kick myself for letting him sell. A 69 Metallic Blue lifted on 37s, but he was selling his big shop and we couldn't bring ourselves to park out at the farm.

Thanks all. Should be a fun easy build. The guy I bought I from has a challenger that's getting a built 440 that's going to be 500+. Also has a crazy tube chassis drag car that weighs 1300lbs and is powered by a 700+hp V8. Good guy to buy a project from.

I am going to get the 350 that's in it running first. My dad and brother are embarking on this one with me and my dad wants to keep it old school. My brother just wants to drive it.

Thanks all. Ordered the wiring harness and radiator from brothers. Going to go with a Holley carb, not sure on CFM yet as I'm not sure on a cam yet haha.
