the lb7 engines have injector issues, but not all of them, i for one have 150,000 miles on my 03 and no injector troubles.

No it did not ask that I just wanted to follow the rules. Is that not the case anymore, can I just request a vin check anytime? I am considering buying it on Friday and am not sure I can get 25 by the time Friday comes.
Welcome to the site. I am sure it would be ok with Henry(ripmf666) to ask for a vin check. I mean you are looking at getting a D-Max.
