need some quick info

i am replacing the intercooler pipe on my lb7. took the cooler off to flush it. had a little gunk in it nothing major. took the intercooler pipe off noticed oil residue had been coming out of the compressor out side/drivers side. question is does the lb7 have egr and where is this oil coming from. it would be a little easier to call someone.

look on the passenger side in the valley, is there an egr cooler there? how about the crankcase vent where is it routed?

pcv doesn't run into the turbo. and I don't see an egr. I hope its not a seal

gotta be the turbo then, theres no other way oil could get in there

it does have oil and antifreeze to cool and lubricate. its not like liquid oil it looks like thick gunk idk. damn IHI

Yea I will be doing that soon as my funds get more plenty full. Just spend 1200 on the truck how it is. Got new tail lights ic pipe oil tranny and filters and this grille that is gonna be time consuming cutting and sanding the mesh off the factory one. It looks sharp though.
