Almost looks like something now. The part that took the longest was the damn oil return. Couldn't find a tap. Then couldn't find a 37/64 drill bit. Had to go smaller and waller it out a bit then took forever to actually get the tap to start.
Truck is up and running. Waiting on tuning form Kory. Sadly the stock coolant Res won't work for me. Gonna have to try a cav Res. That may work. Hope I don't have to spring for an expensive tank.
Ha ha. If only our account wasn't joint. What's crazy is she has no idea what she is looking at but can always tell when I do something to my trucks. I may do a fancy tank one day but gotta do it the less expensive way for now. Unless someone has one laying around for cheap.
Put the cav tank on and took her for a spin. Boost was about 32 on stock tune for a quick run. Bumped it to my #2 tune from my previous tuning which only made like 360 whp on the dyno. Not a big tune at all and it bumped up to like 39 for a quick run. I let out and turned to come home and now I can't get but like 5 lbs and a ton of smoke. Not sure what I just did.
