Thanks for the pic, that's what we thought about doing but I really don't want it visible. Hopefully eliminating the the torsion crossmember will leave enough space.

Don't recall where I found this pic, something like this without the dually bed, the truck screams fast just sitting. Me not a fan of red trucks, this one I would own...:thumb:

I wonder if he had to tub the rear to get those to fit, either way that would way sicker then a dually bed
Look real close you will see something has been done to the rear end, the two red pieces just below the rear bumper line, 4link?
They kinda look like old skool traction bars, Ive never seen a 4-link hang past the axle housing. Maybe they are shock mounts.
Do you already have the lift pump? I got my Kennedy pumps mounted up above the frame, can't see them.
Yeah, I've got the Fuelab 200 setup. I just spoke with Dave and there's plenty of space on the inside with the torsion bars gone. I'm going to order some coilovers and rear shackles.
PACougar, did you install the draw straw with the Fuelab pump, read on another site a member was having 1/4 tank problems until he installed the draw straw. Also one other critical item regarding the Fuelab I read on their website is you need to monitor the fuel pressure/restriction closely as it will burn the up the pump with a restricted/dirty filter, not picking on Fuelab I'm sure any of the other pumps will do the same thing. The more I read about the Fuelab the more inclined I'am to purchase one, next year....

Haven't started on the install yet but Dave is definitely going to do the draw straw. I'm not going to run the factory filter head so hopefully I won't have any pressure issues over working the pump. After I did a lot of reading about them I was sold!

Fuelab is top notch, these kinds of warnings are what you WANT to see in a company you're buying from. Why? Because you get the idiots who buy pumps and dont keep up on their maintenance, or they dont have the proper supply to the pump and spew nonsense on the internet saying the pump and the company is garbage. Of course every mechanical product will fail, thats life, but using your head sure cuts out a lot of premature failures. In my opinion, any pump moving 150+ gpm needs -10 minimum supply to the pump. I cringe knowing that my fass 150 has -8 from the trans cooler to the inlet. I kick myself for not buying the fuelab, but my fass has been great for me.

I'm terrible at posting updates, so I thought I'd knock one out. Trucks running and driving well, been taking it easy so far. Finished the coilovers, lift pump, upper and lower ball joints, steering stabilizer, rotors and pads on all 4 corners plus SS lines, rear sway bar, 3" drop shackles, had the drive line rebuilt, and new wheel bearing hub assemblies. We also had to replace the ABS computer, the old hubs had grown a nice size gap to the sensors and burnt out the old computer. The picture from the side is how it sits right now with the coilovers and the shackles installed. Once I tow my big ass trailer with everything to Texas I'll drop the truck quite a bit more. In think we we get a chance we'll weld the mounting plate for the lift pump on so it doesn't sit below the frame.
