Can't pick between these 3 brands

Mickey Thompson MTZ 305/55/20
Cooper STT- 33x12.50/20
Toyo MT- 33x12.50/20

Who has had either and what did you like/ dislike about them?

I like the Micky Thompson and toyos, and never used or hear anything about coopers. I had a friend just buy some 35, 12.5, r20 and he got some mastercraft tire, I guess made by Micky Thompson and there were a 100 bucks cheaper than anything else.

All 3 are good, I've ran them all, I liked the coopers the best out of those 3 but you cant go wrong with any of them IMO...

Also check out the Federal MT's there a knock off mud terrain but are decent for the money, Ive ran 8 sets of them in 35's simply because there $400 cheaper then the Toyo's/coopers and other then a little more road noise are comparible..

I love my Cooper STT"s. They aren't that loud and I'm very impressed how they work in the snow and slippery roads. I plow some with mine and they do great.

I want these tires in a 33/12.50/? E after I put a 4" tuff Country lift on my LLY.

Mickey Thompson MTZ are really good. They have the best wear and snow/ice traction of any MT I have seen. Without additional siping anyways

I've run the MTZ's and the Toyo's. The MTZ's were better off road Mud/Sand, but Had more sidewall roll while towing. I used the Toyo's in snow once and was not impressed. Since the truck mainly sees street, I stayed with Toyo for the stiffer handling.

I don't know if I would call the toyo an MT. They are super tough and have amazing sidewall and treadlife but the off road performance can be had much easier with one of your other choices.
I always call the toyo Mt the ultimate mall crawler tire.

The toyos are cool lookin and will last a good while on road. the coopers are a great off road tire and were by far my favorite in the snow/ice compared to all the mud tires ive ran. I just didnt like the fact they didnt last worth a damn on the road. i got 25k out of my set of STT's before they were bald and that was mainly highway miles. the Pro comp extreme all terrains were the longest lasting tire i ever ran. i got 40k out of them and could have gone longer but snow traction was suffering bad and i needed something for the upcoming winter (mind you this was years ago). Since then ive ran the KM2s and have been really happy.

I dont have much info on the MTZ's.

I had those on my old half ton and hated them, they were loud and it felt like it floated around on the road

I'm thinking about KM2s or Goodyear Wrangler MT/R Kevlar for my next tire. I love the old KMs, but heard the new ones don't wear very well. Anyone ever run Goodyear Wrangler MT/R Kevlar?

I don't know of anyone that has towed with MTZs. Being a 33 on a 20" wheel sidewall might not be much of an issue.

I'd steer away from the new km2. It's nothing like the km1. They wear like crap, they're pretty loud and my buddy had 2 blow out on his lly at around 35-40k miles. They were getting low on tread but still had some meat and no reason to blow since they were only a couple years old. Same guy replaced them with trail grapplers, they've worn much better. But they are a little loud now that the tread is down

I ran the Toyo's in a 38/15.5/20 on my 7.3 F350 for a few years, road noise wasn't bad compared to other MT's I've had, they wore excellent, and handled quite nicely. Even on that heavy pig lifted 10". Definitely not the cheapest option out there though.
