Finally sold my cast pistons and have some forged that will be heading my way
Got my forged mahle's.
Thinking about throwing in the towel on this build. Its taken so long its kinda sucked the enjoyment out of it.

Because its been down for almost a year and a half and isnt done. Im the only one working in the house cause my woman is going to school full time. So im having to take care of her and 2 kids and all the bills. Kinda hard to do all that and build the truck on my pay. Plus its been so damn long its killed the excitement of it. I still need a bunch of shit for the trans in order for it to live behind the engine and that just equals more time and money. Everyone is all "go with a duraflite" blah blah or im going to need a $9000 allison. I just dont want to do it anymore, Im paying for a truck that i cant use.

I don't know anything but you can always finish the motor and do a mild allison build and play at 7-800hp until you get back in the swing of things. It will cost more in long run but it's better than giving up on it

Lparrill- I would do that but the suck part of the deal is this.. The way i got the truck was took over the payments from a friend. He knew i couldnt get a loan to buy it cause of some school loans and my matco tool loan. So he agree'd that i would just take over the payments and leave it in his name. Now he's blowing my phone up wanting me to pay the truck off (knowing i cant get a loan right now). I know where he's coming from but he knew i couldnt get a loan when we went into this deal. So i cant just put the truck on the back burner anymore. Something needs to get done. Plus my DD is getting older and starting to have stuff go bad on a monthly basis.

I dont want this truck stock. If im gonna sell the stuff im gonna just sell the truck and im getting a newer truck. Local lot just got an 08 ltz w/69k i like a lot

Thanks. Now i just need to get my ass in gear and get it done. I am jusy going to put it together with the stage 5 trans and run it on lower levels till i can get the billet parts i need.
