Got me kinda worried. I live in Cairo Ill but im taking the Dmax and the dog to higher ground at father in laws in Kentucky. Still kinda trippy that my hometown may...be washed away

Anything next to a river or stream is flooded in Ky also. Many towns near the Ohio are already under water. I hope for the best in your town. It might be a little trickey driving to your inlaws. Good luck.:thumb:

I can see the ohio from my parents house,,,, it's MUCH closer now lol. Really though it's bad here in So Indiana too.

Thanks guys for all of the support. The river has dropped to 60.5 ft after they "breeched" the levee. The national gaurd and state police still wont let us back in to town. Im living in between in laws and a hotel in cape girardeau. This is getting really stressful real fast.

My brother will be down there helping out it sounds like it. I lucked out and am in a different unit.

watch out for floaters down stream,,, lol the sewers are backing up here and we can't use the water or any drain (including toilets) in our own houses around here .

A video of what the national guard did to reduce pressure on my towns levee's. A lot of folks did agree with it. But it helped a lot.
