This might sounds a little bit off but can a "clogged heater core" cause the Cylinder Head to crack?
I've been dealing with a mechanic for 2 months over Injector & FRP replacement job. A week after I got the truck back, I got a low coolant error message and long story short, I had to have the Head (cracked) and the Head Gasket replaced. It took 2 weeks to get it back and at the last minute, he calls & says the heater core is blocked and that's the reason the head cracked.
