No. In addition to them. To adjust the tire toe in and out, you back off the sleeve and the locking nut, then lock these two together to turn the tie rod for adjustment. The reverse to lock back down. No gorillas needed though. Just snug them up (sleeves) good and tight.

for those on the fence ....... these have excellent fit and finish and are plenty strong I have tested them ( same t6 used by fidanza in there competition flywheel ) and a free bump for you Henry
