Brooks you will have to cut that bracket. I did on all 3 of my trucks at one time or another and no ill effects.
You just buying a replacementish one from fleabay to help hold em all together? Only place I seemed to have found some
Actually, I was under there the other day, and got to take a better look. Ite looks as if I'll be able.to remove a bolt that goes all the way thru it. Slide the braket up.towards the leaf mounts, and slide the springs out! Then the brackets can be bolted back together
Just went look again. Part of the bracket is actually riveted to.the second leaf. So, once that leaf is removed, the bracket is no longer useable.
