I need some real alternatives on how to successfully quite down the exhaust on my truck. I plan to so triples and sure hope that does the trick.

I guess your alternatives are twins or triples :woott:

My 4" exhaust with straight through muffler is quiet like stock with the twins.

Trips will quiet it a bunch. Like sled said, just adding the twins on mine with 5" silverline muffler gives aa nice rumble but not noticable in the cab

tiny bit of drone cruising with the 5" but the 35's are louder :thumb:

I'm a fan of the idea of adding a turbo in place of a muffler. As as stated above, single chargers can get pretty loud, I know my stock charger straight piped truck was a little excessive. Twins cut the noise in half almost, and we will see shortly what adding trips does to the sound ;)

Mine is a little over the top with the noise. It is a 5" stainless with a Aero turbine muffler. Since I took the lift off any system that I have had is really loud, including the one that was on it before the lift was off.

I want to put a Donaldson on mine too, my buddy has a CR Cummins with a Silver 62, he put a Donaldson type muffler, it is really quiet all you can hear is the charger.
