Lml falling on it's face and code p046c

I have a completely stock 11 Duramax . New air filter, new fuel filter. I have an intermittent prob where it won't accelerate.. will rev around 2k surges and won't go over 10-15 mph. I'll pull over shut it off check and clear the code po46c aux emissions and usually starts up and is fine after that for days. Any help

Your egr valve is sticking, which is causing the code and performance issues.
That valve is attached to the y bridge.
That valve falls under the emissions warranty.

Ok kinda what I was thinking? What is the emissions warranty on it? As in it could still be covered?

i dont think it falls under warranty. according to the dumb asses at the EPA, its only 2 years/24k from new.

its up to you and dependent on your state laws for emission testing what you want to do. i hate the emissions crap on these trucks

Just got off phone with dealer and they said emissions warranty was up in 2016
