LML 9th Injector

I have a 2013 2500HD and getting codes for 9th injector. Bought the part and planned on replacing it today. I was able to get everything except releasing the fuel line. I bought the dorman tool that was supposed to make it easier, but it will not release. Does anyone have any suggestions on methods I can try or a better tool for the job? I am not having any luck searching for videos or info.

Is the disconnect tool you're using made of plastic or metal? I've never had success with the plastic one. I use a metal snap-on or blue-point I dont remember.
