Line X and decisions, decisions

Having black Line X Xtra put in the bed and over the rails along with having the rockers done up to within 1/4" of the body side mouldings.

Now the decisions.

What do you think of removing the body side mouldings and Line Xing up to the body line above them?

What do you all also think of the possibility of removing the factory fender flares and having Line X put on where the flares were.

The idea for the flares removal is to protect the area that would normally rot out over time.

Truck is the '07 in my garage.

I've done color match up to the body line also across the tailgate to tie it all together. I've had numerous people comment on liking it. Would I do it again. Yes
I removed the mouldings and flares shot the flares and reinstalled them.

when i think about it i dont like it......but when i see it in person i like it....color matched would look sweet...i would keep the flares

Too bad someone doesn't come up with a "clear" Linex material.

Heres a couple pics of how I had my truck done. I also have it inside the the doors to help prevent rust everywhere.

If you would like it protect your paint and don't want to do line-x you could always do the 3m clear tape to help guard against rock chips.

I say remove the moldings. Here is a a piture of my 02. It is Rhino but you get the idea.
