Ive never lifted the cab on a newer Duramax but from what i hear its straight forward.

If anyone could give me a step by step or an itemized list of what all needs removed/ unplugged that would be great

There are a couple hidden grounds behind the front bumper. I also remove the top half of the fan shroud, fan and fan cage before lifting the cab. Just makes it easier since there is basically no room for error with them in place. Don't forget 4x4 shifter if it's a lever.

Unbolt the ac compressor and tie it to something on the cab other wise you have to drain the system.

IIRC, I removed the fan shroud, Unbolted the a/c compressor, unbolted the master cylinder front the hydro boost and took the hydroboost lines off, drained and removed radiator and CAC hoses, disconnected the e-brake cable, then its all electrical. Most of the electrical is either plugs or bolt on grounds. Don't forget the ground between the back of the block and the cab, or the 2 bolts in the core support.
