Lift pump vs. Salt

Been stalking the sites via searches since I drank the diesel Kool-Aid back in 08. Now that shes aging (read breaking more often) thought it time to be able to ask questions.

Fuel return lines are leaking at the solid to flex joints near the cooler. Hard lines rusted to crap - we like road salt here in NY. Just ordered stuff from Summit to repair thanks to members of this sight.

My first question as a member is this - as my supply lines are also corroding planing a preemptive replacement and would like to again take suggestions of this site and install a lift pump - what pump will withstand the road salt best?

I found I had an air leak at one of the quick connect fittings due to rust.

Kennedy makes a nice lift pump setup.

I make several trips up north in the winter and spend a bit of time driving on the beach. So I see a bit of salt, but not a ton like you. My Kennedy pump still looks good after 9 years. My frame on the other hand not so much.

Best luck I've had with salt was a ppe mounted on top of the small plate above the driveshaft.

Super easy to put there and mine lasted 5+ years.
