LLY: LBZ intake and mp install

I just completed the install of the lbz intake and mp install. I went to reflash my pcm with hptuners to update the maf. I down load a LBZ file and was just going to cut the maf file from my it and put it in my lly. Well the maf table is different from lly and LBZ. It is different by almost 40%. I looked at several LBZ tunes and they were all like this. I can tune in a maf for gas motor by using the fuel trims. How do I tune in the maf with a diesel?

Go to your maf table and multiply every cell by 1.41.

That just seems like a lot. On gas motors I can log fuel trim to make sure the maf call is correct. How do I make sure my maf can is correct on the duramax.

Look for an idle MAF of about 5.1 lb/min at 680 rpm. That is one check.

Ok that is just for idle. How do you check to make sure the maf curve is correct at all RPM.
