Ok fellas, who has ported the fittings where the injectors connect to the rail?

I see there are little nipples on the underside of those fittings I'm thinking that if I drill em out I still have those nipples to contend with seems like they would kind of obstruct the fuel a little. How much have you guys taken out of the fittings(what size drill bit?) I'm kinda thinking maybe I'll just hone out the entire rail getting rid of the nipples all together the rail also has a lip where it's stepped down in size in the inner diameter I would hone that out some as well. Anyways if you guys have any info it would be greatly appreciated I have a spare set of rails so I'm not hurting anything by Guinea pigging.

That hole compared to your holes in nozzles I would not see a benifit.

Never really thought about it that way, but at the same time if you added up all 7 holes X 8 injectors at 250% stock size then compared it then maybe? Never really know till you try and since I have an extra set I figured ahh what the hell! If it doesn't work then oh well I will know one way not to do something if it does help then great lol

TX of course
Um I think guy are just running lly rails instead of porting lbzs. You better do a HELL of a job cleaning them out if you drill those.

Dozerboy, yea I did some digging and Sean where guys were doing that. They didn't think you could drill these because of the nipples that went down inside the rail, those nipples are actually just pressed in there and can be removed I found. And yes they will be cleaned VERY well. I have an industrial parts washer, air, among other things at my disposal, wouldn't take but I tiny piece of metal to wreck an injector
