Top bracket where I had to drill 4 holes back from where the original holes were

Top bracket where I had to drill 2 holes in the top of my radiator (be careful)

Last few pics are of the tcm bracket, I had to cut it down to clear my radiator hose, the top hole is one stock hole and the bottom one I drilled, also put the breaker on the bracket, it turned out nice, just need to finish up the wiring and try to cut and get my top shroud to sit over everything so it looks stock

Sorry it's dark and it's crappy cell phone pics but it's all I could get for now, let me know if you need any more..look up the instructions online, it will give you a better understanding on the brackets and everything

lol yea just the top tab of it, there's not much room so I went slow, I just took the tcm bracket and held it up next to the mounted fans and took a marker and made a line where I needed the back to clear my hose and basically just cut the section out of the top and ground it smooth..other than that everything else is all the same

On mine I flipped that bracket around and I left the top fan shroud bracket on so I drilled a hole and bolted it to that so I didn't have to drill the radiator

Installed FF Dynamics Extreme Duramax kit a couple of weeks ago. Easy install and awesome product. I definitely recommend them if anyone is thinking about switching over to electric fans.

I thought about running 2 Taurus fans in a fabricated aluminum shroud and a dc control variable speed controler. It's just one of those down the road projects that will probably never happen. I am a fan of e fans and put them on almost every vehicle I have owned. The Lincoln mark VIII is said to Move a large amount of air. Something along the lines of 4200cfm. I ran one on my 600hp lightning and never had any issues.

Thanks for all the responses and PICs. I have finally completed it my install and.... I custom did/redid the brackets to make it sit lower down on the radiator. It will still work with the provided brackets just a preference thing to change them. I didn't use the TCM bracket because I relocated it along with the ECM.

3 things
-robs electrical power noticeably(at idle and fans at 100% it would make the truck kinda lope due to the lack of power to the injectors) enough on an older not much longer to live alternator stock 145amp *fix aftermarket 200amp alternator
-Noticeable difference in power(turbo spools a little sooner and longer or... maybe that's in my mind) and overall pedal feel due to less drag and EGTs dropped a little bit as well
-they are almost never ON in the Auto mode which is good and when they come on they don't take long at all to cool it back down, that is me running it hard in Guam 85 degrees and 85 percent humidity

Overall worth it :thumb:
