Sounds to me like a waste of $50 and a lot of time to me. Why go through that trouble?

easiest answer to that question. Spend 50 bucks on tearing a turbo apart and learning one night? or wasting 50 bucks at the bar. I enjoy tearing stuff apart and putting it back together which increases my knowledge. :D this thread is now totally off topic lets try to get it back on.

My response was right on topic.;)

You want to buy a turbo to take it apart and learn from it, by all means have at it. If you want to buy an LLY turbo to replace a perfectly good LBZ turbo, you are wasting your time in my opinion.

A LLY charger will make more power imo. so thats what i am going to go with. I appreciate your guys input though.
