LBZ: LBZ & Boost Controller?

Has anyone ran the PPE Boost controller on an LBZ with the stock Turbo? What kinds of power does it add? Is the install a pain?

i did for a lil bit, install is less then 5min., dont know bout the power.

um yea 45PSI right outa the turbo :rofl: SOTP i really dont know but im about to put it back on and do some more testing, truck still ran fast with out it though, i just like how my truck spooled with it, it seemed to build boost a lot faster down low and brake boosting....but i had to turn it all the way up to do that and thats were it would hit 45PSI

I had it on my LBZ, I used it to build more boost and lower EGT's since I only had a Predator Chip. It worked good for me but I would get Low Boost Codes occasionally for some reason and go into limp mode.

well i put mine back on yest. made my DD tune gain a lot of power, kept my egts below 800* unless i really got on it, ill let you know more in a couple of days.

I was considering using the boost controller with EFI, keep us informed how it works out

no prob. larry, im goin to a pull tonight to see what it will do, the only problem im thinkin is were it gets over 40PSI but i have an idea on how to cont. that.
