Fuel gauge needs to be rescaled in EFI live, lb7 is opposite of later trucks.
Check engine light, glow plug light are 2 of the wires that needs to be moved in the c100 connector.
Heated seats not working is more than likely having the wrong OS flashed in. You'll need one for a fully optioned lbz with a manual transmission which will be like finding a unicorn.
Read through the thread by rpm Motorsports and double check your wiring. No one is gonna be able to diagnose your issues over the Internet until you start doing some digging and process of elimination.
Well yes, just not trying to add to the confusion. I'll edit it
Funny you should ask.
I pulled a clean TIS for a LBZ Manual Trans 4x4, I did a database query and found a customer with the LBZ/ZF6.
Since ZF6 trucks only came with a manual TC control and no PB I am positive its correct for the truck.
I just swapped the fuel tank scaler and the issues with the LB7 ZF6 to LBZ ZF6 might be in the BCM Programming, not quite sure yet.
It has been a challenge to kill off codes, as of noon today it still has a security light and a non working cruise control.
But it was a ZF6 originally or at least that is what we think it was.
Also no REG CABS ever had heated seats, so the BCM may be the issue there as well.
Speak of the devil... are you referring to the op's truck that you're working on?
As far as heated seats in a regular cab go, could you use a file from an extended cab?
And just to verify that they did in fact have an lbz with lbz tuning and zf6 from the factory?
Thanks for taking the time to explain that. We're way over my head right now.
Is there going to be any issues with an lbz/zf6/4x4 cab and chassis? When the time comes I'll be taking it to you for tuning.
